Claris Caga Belgica

Hello! I’m Teacher Claris — a licensed English teacher with six years of classroom experience and several years of online teaching, supporting learners from Intermediate to Senior High levels in both private and public schools. I’ve taught students from the Philippines, China, and Korea. I live by a beautiful quote from Abdul Kalam: “If the people remember me as a good teacher, that will be the biggest honor for me.” I’m also a sister, wife, mother, aunt, and friend — and above all, a humble, God-fearing woman who’s always happy to connect and communicate with others. Let’s learn together and make a difference!

Jordan Abance

Hello! My name is Jordan Abance, but feel free to call me Mr. Jordan. I’m a licensed teacher in the Philippines, currently working with junior high school students in a traditional classroom setting. I’ve also taught Japanese students online and worked as a music instructor — teaching guitar, bass, and ukulele. I ’m looking forward to meeting you in our online class — even if it’s just for a short while!

Daisy Artemio

This is Teacher Daisy Artemio, but you can call me Ms. Daisy. I’ve been passionately teaching for 12 years — 11 of those in the Philippines, where I also led an English after-school program for non-readers. I served as coordinator and department head at a Christian school for 2 years.Since July 2024, I’ve been teaching English at an international school in Japan, where I also support Japanese children learning ESL — while learning my third language! I’m excited to help you reach your English goals.

Alexysse Tolero

Hello everyone! I’m Teacher Alexysse — but you can call me Teacher Alex or Ms. Alex. I’m a licensed English teacher based in the Philippines, with several years of ESL teaching experience. I’ve taught both kids and adults, in person and online, one-on-one and in groups. I’m passionate about creating a lively, inclusive atmosphere where students feel inspired to learn. I can’t wait to meet you in class!

Vina V. Lubos

Hello! My name is Vina. I’m a licensed educator with TESOL and TEFL certifications, and over three years of experience teaching English to students from around the world, both in person and online. Teaching is my passion — I love using engaging, effective techniques with learners of all kinds. I’m also a wanderlust at heart, and I get to explore the world through my students. I truly believe: "Never stop learning because life never stops teaching.

Angelina Pimenova

Hello! I'm Teacher Angelina, but you can call me Teacher Angi. With two years of experience teaching English to a diverse range of students, from kids to adults, I'm passionate about helping learners achieve their communication goals. As a second-language student myself, having navigated the journey of learning English and moving abroad as a teenager, I deeply understand the challenges and triumphs you may face. My teaching philosophy centers on active engagement and meaningful interaction, building your confidence to speak English clearly and without hesitation. I'm excited to meet you and help you achieve your English communication goals!

Robert Stanger, M.Ed Founder

Robert Stanger is the Founder of American English Pathway (AEP) and a globally recognized expert in second language acquisition. With over 14 years of classroom experience, Robert has worked with diverse learners—from at-risk students at Keystone Charter School in the U.S. to international students across Asia. He has also taught first-year German at the university level and served as an ESL, SAT, and TOEFL instructor with organizations such as the Mercer County Literacy Council and the Learning Sanctuary of Singapore.

Robert has trained hundreds of educators in the U.S., Singapore, and Thailand. His ESL seminars have been endorsed by the Catholic Schools of Thailand, the Thai Minister of Education, the Vietnamese Ministry of Education, and METEN English Academy in China.

He holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in English and German from Westminster College, a Master’s degree in German from Kent State University, and a Master’s in Education with specializations in English Language Learning and Child Development from Ashford University. He also completed postgraduate work in Educational Philosophy at Slippery Rock University. Robert graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned Highest Honors for his graduate work.

At AEP, Robert leads with a deep belief that language learning is not just academic—it’s personal, cultural, and transformative.

Sasha Kosmina, M.M Principal

Sasha Kosmina is an experienced English language educator and the Principal of American English Pathway (AEP). With a rich background in teaching learners of all ages and proficiency levels—both in-person and online—Sasha brings a global perspective and a deep passion for empowering students through language.

Having lived on three continents and spoken four languages, Sasha understands the real-world challenges of language acquisition. This lived experience shapes her approach to education: immersive, communicative, and student-centered. She is dedicated to creating a learning environment where students feel supported, engaged, and confident to use English in meaningful ways.

Under her leadership, AEP emphasizes practical communication, cultural relevance, and the joy of learning—helping students not only improve their English skills but also unlock their full potential.

Noel Stanger, PhD Academic Advisor & Counselor

Dr. Noel Stanger is a seasoned educator, academic advisor, and writing specialist with over fifteen years of experience working with students across age groups, disciplines, and academic levels. She holds a Master’s degree in The Teaching of Writing and Literature from George Mason University and earned her Ph.D. in English from Duquesne University.

Dr. Stanger has taught a wide range of literature, composition, and communication courses at institutions including Thiel College and Duquesne University. She has also served in leadership roles as Director of the Thiel College Writing Lab and Assistant Director of the Duquesne University Writing Center, helping students strengthen their academic writing and communication skills.

In addition to her classroom work, Dr. Stanger has advised students from all academic backgrounds on course planning, academic success strategies, financial literacy, career readiness, and student engagement. Her work as an academic coach reflects a holistic approach to student development.

At American English Pathway (AEP), Dr. Stanger brings this expertise to support both native and non-native English speakers. She has tutored ESL and EFL learners in language development, standardized test preparation, and U.S. college readiness. As a language learner herself, with studies in German and Italian, she brings empathy and insight to the language-learning journey.

Dr. Stanger’s unique blend of instructional and advisory experience gives her a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities students face—especially at the university level. She is passionate about helping students grow, thrive, and achieve their goals through education.

Myko Ordoñez, Teacher Certification Officer

Hello! I'm Myko, a licensed teacher and nurse with a passion for nurturing young minds. With years of experience in both education and care, I bring patience, creativity, and heart to every learning session. My approach is gentle yet goal-driven—designed to make children feel supported, confident, and excited to learn. I believe every child has great potential, and I’m here to help them shine.

Joseph Rardin, US History Teacher

Joseph Rardin, US History Teacher

My name is Joseph Rardin, I have had a passion for US history since I was young. I have a bachelors in Secondary Education from Fairhaven Baptist College in Indiana and am currently getting a degree in the same field from Gran Canyon University in Arizona. I have taught history in two different schools for a total of three years. I have read hundreds of books on American History and have been able to store a huge wealth of information on the subject in my personal library. I love teaching and talking about US history.
